The Shepherd’s Way
Leading with Strength and Tenderness in Life and Business

George B. Thomas

Isaiah 40:11 gives us a picture of God that feels almost too good to be true. It says, “He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.” Think about that for a moment. In the very same chapter where Isaiah reminds
us that God measures oceans in His hand and calls every star by name, he also shows us God cradling the weakest lamb in His arms.
That is not just poetry. It is a collision of truths we desperately need. God is both mighty and merciful. Strong enough to rule the universe, yet tender enough to carry you close to His heart.
