There’s a moment in Isaiah’s prophecy that slices through noise, chaos, and uncertainty like a beam of light: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” At first glance, it’s poetic, even comforting. But if you sit with it, this verse challenges every assumption we make about security, success, and what truly lasts.

Because the truth is this: most of what we invest our time, energy, and identity into is grass and flowers. Beautiful for a season, but temporary.

The question we have to ask, both in life and business, is this: Am I building on what fades or on what endures?
