Use the Spiritual Side of Leadership with your AI

Your AI can read this whole site and ask it questions. Here's how it works, and where the line is. A human still makes every decision.

Read any page as markdown

Every public page has a clean markdown version, built from the same page humans see. Three ways to get it:

  • Add .md to the URL. /about becomes /about.md, and the home page is /index.md.
  • Ask for any page URL with the header Accept: text/markdown. A page that doesn't exist still answers 404, with a markdown note on where to go next.
  • Start from /llms.txt, a plain map of the whole site and what it's for.

Connect the MCP server

The MCP server lives at https://www.spiritualsideofleadership.com/api/mcp. It speaks Streamable HTTP, it is read-only, and it needs no login. Add it to any MCP client:

Endpoint details and a terminal example are on the MCP server page. It has 7 tools:

  • get_about (Get About SSOL): Returns what the Spiritual Side of Leadership is, its slogan and founding year, its founder George B. Thomas (with his shared Person @id https://www.georgebthomas.com/#person), its location, and the key page URLs.
  • get_framework (Get the SuperHuman Framework): Returns the SuperHuman Framework: its summary, the 4 Cornerstones, the 10 H-Pillars and the 18 Leadership Gaps, each with a one-line summary, page URL and markdown URL.
  • list_devotions (List Daily Drip Devotions): Lists Daily Drip devotionals that have already been emailed, newest first, with title, slug, date, Scripture reference and page URL. Future devotions are never returned.
  • get_devotion (Get a Daily Drip Devotion): Returns one emailed Daily Drip devotional by slug: Scripture text and translation, the devotional body, the practice, the question to carry, and the prayer.
  • list_articles (List Articles): Lists published Spiritual Side of Leadership articles, newest first, with title, slug, excerpt, date, category, page URL and markdown URL. Every article is free to read.
  • get_article (Get an Article): Returns one published article by slug: title, excerpt, author, dates, category, main Scripture, the full body as plain text, the page URL and the markdown URL.
  • get_membership (Get Membership Tiers): Returns what is free, and the public membership tiers (Daily, Formation, Transformation) with monthly and annual prices in USD, features and terms, exactly as the membership page shows them, plus the membership and group membership URLs.

Call the JSON API

The same data is a plain JSON API at /api/v1: about, framework, membership, articles and devotions. No key, read-only, 60 requests a minute. The contract is an OpenAPI 3.1 file at /openapi.json.

What your AI can and can't do here

It can explain the SuperHuman Framework, read every free article, read Daily Drip devotionals that have already gone out, and quote the membership prices this site shows. It can hand you the right page or the right next step.

It can't sign you up, buy anything, send a message, or see anything private. Nothing behind a membership login is exposed, and tomorrow's devotional stays unread until it goes out. When you're ready, a human joins at Membership or writes in on the contact page.

Crawlers

Search engines, AI assistants and AI training crawlers are welcome on the public pages. The only crawler blocked is Bytespider. Member and admin areas stay off limits to everyone. The details are in /robots.txt.
