How to Use the Prayer Diary

Track your prayers, record how God answers, and build a testimony of His faithfulness over time.

Why Track Your Prayers?

How many prayers have you prayed and then forgotten? How many times has God answered, but you were too busy to notice? The Prayer Diary helps you be intentional about prayer and build a living record of God's faithfulness.

Creating a Prayer Request

  1. Go to Tools > Prayer Diary from your dashboard
  2. Click "New Prayer" to add a request
  3. Give it a clear title (e.g., "Wisdom for team restructure")
  4. Add details about what you're praying for
  5. Choose a category (Business, Team, Family, Personal, or create your own)
  6. Optionally pin it if it's urgent

Categories Help You Stay Organized

We provide default categories, but you can create your own:

  • Business - Prayers related to your work or organization
  • Team - Prayers for your team members and colleagues
  • Family - Personal and family matters
  • Personal - Your own growth, health, and development
  • Custom - Create categories that fit your life

Recording Answered Prayers

When God answers a prayer—whether it's a "yes," "no," or "not yet"—record it:

  1. Open the prayer request
  2. Click "Mark as Answered"
  3. Document how God answered
  4. Add any reflections on what you learned

Building Your Testimony

Over time, your Prayer Diary becomes a powerful testimony. You'll see patterns of God's faithfulness, His timing, and His care for the details of your life and leadership. In moments of doubt, you can look back and remember what He's done.
